TOKYO -- Artificial intelligence "will acquire a human form," a senior official at U.S. chipmaker Nvidia said in Tokyo on Monday, adding that Japanese manufacturing technology will help fuel broad development of the sector.
The future challenges for AI will be "not just about making humanoids, but about connecting AI to actual operations," Masataka Osaki, vice president of worldwide field operations at the chip giant, said in a speech on the opening day of the Global Management Dialogue, a forum organized by Nikkei and Swiss business school IMD.
