Having just covered Fab being plagued by AI-generated assets and Epic Games doing nothing to combat the issue, we now have the polar opposite happening over at Cubebrush, an online shop for digital assets and resources, which has recently made its stance on AI-generated content crystal clear: no AI – no way, no how.
In its official statement, the Cubebrush team explained bluntly and clearly that "AI content is not accepted on the marketplace," revealing that they had been manually hiding such products, making them accessible only through direct links.
However, despite the team working day and night, some AI assets still slipped through the cracks, and because of that, the platform is introducing a new policy. Going forward, uploaders will be required to tag their AI content, which will automatically make it invisible to other Cubebrush users. Failure to comply will result in the product being outright deleted instead of just hidden, and multiple infractions will lead to the uploader being banned altogether.
The team notes that while it's still technically possible to host AI-made products on Cubebrush, they won't appear to other users, won't show up in Cubebrush's "Daily Picks" or "Freebies" sections, and won't be visible in the uploader's own catalog – access is limited to direct links only.
