Artificial intelligence is very good at condensing massive amounts of information that can then be verified by a human. Wisconsin Watch is using a new tool called Parser to quickly summarize interviews and public meetings and suggest newsworthy claims. This allows journalists to cover significantly more ground in a shorter amount of time, which is important in today’s world of rapid-fire headlines.
