FLINT, Mich. - Hurley Medical Center is now using new technology to help assist doctors with patient care.
Hurley has partnered with Abridge, the leading generative AI platform for clinical conversations.
The AI technology transforms bedside conversations between the patient and clinician into structured clinical notes in real time.
Hurley says with this tool, clinicians can spend less time at the computer while spending more time fully engaging with the patient.
”The feedback from patients and clinicians has been overwhelmingly positive. As an emergency room physician, I explain to patients that Abridge is going to help me write my clinical notes and remember the details we discuss,” says Dr. Michael Roebuck, Chief Medical Information Officer. “Abridge organizes that discussion in a way that captures the key points of our conversation, without missing any important details. Because Abridge helps me give my undivided attention to patients, they have been very receptive to me utilizing it.”
