PFORZHEIM, Germany – Elma Electronic GmbH in Pforzheim, Germany, is introducing the JetSys-2010 small-form-factor industrial-grade rugged computer for artificial intelligence (AI) inference computing.
By providing data control with maximum resilience in edge computing applications, the rugged computer helps systems designers develop high-performance computing systems for industrial applications.
At the heart of the JetSys-2010 rugged computer is the NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX system-on-module with 16 gigabytes of memory and the NVIDIA JetPack software development kit (SDK).
Developers can use NVIDIA's AI tools and the NVIDIA JetPack SDK to accelerate end-to-end AI application development. The SDK also includes the Jetson Linux board support package (BSP), the Jetson AI Stack, and Jetson Platform Services to streamline AI application development.
The JetSys-2010 offers passive cooling for applications where environmental protection is critical, like mining, robotics, agriculture, and autonomous vehicles. It is for industrial applications at the edge, like robotics, automation, and networked mobility.
Typical implementations include predictive maintenance, anomaly detection and automatic quality control. To comply with requirements for use in railway implementations, the JetSys-2010 is designed to meet EN50155, and is ready for use in rugged transportation applications.
The JetSys-2010 ships standard with two Gigabit Ethernet ports, USB and LAN. Interfaces like RS232, RS485, CANbus, and user-defined I/O are available.
